NEC alumna Monica Germino in exhibit: '100 years 100 alumni'
The exhibit '100 Years, 100 Alumni' was a photo exhibit of selected notable alumni of New England Conservatory, over the last 10 decades.
New England Conservatory announced:
"We bring you the history of New England Conservatory's Jordan Hall through the stories of NEC alumni who have brought distinction to the hall, the school and the world. These are 100 individuals, representative of the many who have made an impact with their accomplishments, musical or otherwise. Their contributions to the art of music are innumerable; their achievements as social and cultural leaders have been invaluable; their service to others and to the Conservatory is unforgettable. Many of our selected few have stories that are still unfolding, just as our famous hall has memories still in the making."
The exhibit ran during the Jordan Hall Centennial Celebration in 2003 and was hung in the inner ring of Jordan Hall.
